EU & Australia ...
more than meets the eye

Country information

EU - Australia - Bilaterals

The EU and Australia have been working together to build their bilateral relationship in education and have co-funded a series of mobility projects for institutions, students and lecturers. The EC and the Australian Government provide funding for international curriculum development projects that involve short term mobility between the EU and Australia. Consortia applying for such a project are formed by at least 3 institutions from the EU and 2 institutions from Australia. The selected consortia then set up a framework for student mobility whereby Australian students will typically spend one semester in European partner country institutions and vice versa with full recognition of the study period abroad by the home institution. Support includes mobility grants for students and members of the academic and administrative staff ("faculty").

Testimonials

A great opportunity to polish up my language skills and work with people from around the globe. I look forward to further specialised study in environmentally, economically and socially sustainable agriculture, particularly in developing countries. In Australia the focus is predominately on Australian issues and concerns, so it will be great to learn how other countries are tackling land management issues.
