EU-NZ Trade Conference, Auckland
The EU-NZ Trade Conference was held on 23 February (see photos here). This highly successful event was organised by the Auckland Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with MFAT, Wellington Delegation and the NZ-Europe Business Council and was attended by around 130 EU and NZ trade decision-makers-opinion formers. The event began with a networking breakfast, surrounded by European business stands. The format of the conference was then as follows:
During his visit to New Zealand, which included Annual Trade Talks between the two sides, top EU Trade Negotiator Mauro Petriccione also had the opportunity to meet with New Zealand Trade Minister Tim Groser.
