EU-NZ Trade Conference: Creating opportunities in Markets, Auckland, Tuesday 23 Feb 2010
You are invited to join leading European and New Zealand political and business commentators who will come together this month to discuss New Zealand-European Union trade relations.
Hon Tim Groser, Minister of Trade, will open proceedings. Mr Mauro Petriccione, Director, Directorate-General for Trade of the European Commission will discuss the impact and learnings European FTA negotiations have provided to negotiators and European business. Crawford Falconer, Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) will share what New Zealand has learnt from its FTA negotiations.
You will also hear from Steven Bowden, CEO of NAVMAN, Paul Ravlich, CEO of Siemens and Craig Richardson, MD of Jade Software who will explain the businesses and the strategies that have enabled them to develop a sustainable presence for long-term success in the European Union and New Zealand. Your questions and views will then be welcomed during a panel discussion.
The European Union Delegation, the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, the New Zealand Europe Business Council and the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, are co-hosts the event.
