Accession Partnership - November 13, 2001
In 1992 agreement on Trade and Commercial and Economic Cooperation signed.
In July 1994 a Free Trade Agreement between was signed.
In February 2000, started negotiations with the EU for membership.
Community in Australia numbers some 17,000 (including second and third generation Australians of full and part Lithuanian descent).
Two way trade valued at AUD 7.4 million in 2001-02.
Exports to Lithuania were AUD 4.2 million in 2001-02.
